Vacancy - Project Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours, 5 days
 
Salary: Up to £35,000
 
Location: Remote working available with occasional expected travel to Hull & Milton Keynes
 

The role

In this role you will take ownership of your projects being responsible for the planning and execution of both Paragon ID transport division and RFiD Discovery IoT projects in line with business strategy. You will be responsible for the controlling all aspects of each project – ensuring that the project is delivered to high standards, on time and to budget.  
 
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to define and achieve mutual understanding of the scope of the project using both agile and waterfall techniques
  • Own the end-to-end project life cycle with thorough cross functional scheduling involving stakeholders when appropriate to create a valid plan.
  • Ensure sufficient detail within the plan for the integration of all activities and identification of cross-portfolio dependencies and critical path to key milestones are identified 
     

The Candidate

  • Educated to degree level within a relevant discipline, additionally holding a project management certificate
  • 3-5 years demonstratable experience of successfully managing and delivering multiple projects to time, cost and quality
  • Experience of working with agile scrum development teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Well developed planning and organisational skills including scope and schedule 
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail and able to work to strict deadlines
  • Risk, action, and issue management experience 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills 
  • High attention to detail
