Position - Support / Commissioning Engineer (RFID)

Are you a software engineer with previous experience in RFID technology? We're looking for a candidiate to join our team to provide enterprise level assistance to our customers though remote mechanisms and on-site visits. You will work as part of a talented team to deliver both new and existing projects on time and within budget.

Location: Milton Keynes office with remote working available

Reports to: Software Manager

Key accountabilities

• Take full ownership of customer issues through to resolution
• Ensure strict SLAs are met
• Installation and maintenance of the RFiD Discovery solution for both new and existing customers
• Write and debug complex queries
• Troubleshoot hardware / software both locally and on-site
• Document technical knowledge in the form of Knowledge Base / Wiki articles
• Carry out customer acceptance tests
• Troubleshoot third party integrations.

The candidate

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role, who is able to demonstrate the following:

• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience of hardware installation and maintenance
• Approachable and friendly with a positive attitude
• Electrical Engineering (Part P)
• Degree level qualified.
