Position: Support / Commissioning Engineer (RFID) - Field-based

Are you a software engineer with previous experience in RFID technology? We're looking for a candidiate to join our team to provide first line Technical Support to RFiD Discovery’s customers. Working as a member of a small team, the role will also include site visits.

Location: Milton Keynes office with remote working available, site visits will be required

Reports to: Head of Software Development

Key accountabilities

• Take full ownership of customer issues through to resolution
• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
• Ensure strict SLAs are met
• Installation and maintenance of the RFiD Discovery solution for both new and existing customers
• Write and troubleshoot SQL querys
• Troubleshoot hardware / software both locally and on-site
• Database and software administration
• Supporting the internal RFID Discovery team technically by making sure all local systems are up to date.

The candidate

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role, who is able to demonstrate the following:

• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience of hardware installation and maintenance
• Approachable and friendly with a positive attitude
• Degree level qualified.
