RFiD Discovery continues to expand in Australasia
John Barbounis joins Steve Andrinos in the APAC region
RFiD Discovery is pleased to announce the appointment of John Barbounis as Head of Sales in the APAC region by its parent company, Paragon ID.
With over 30 years’ experience and many years spent in managerial positions across various sectors including government, retail, aviation and travel, John brings expert knowledge to the team to support both RFiD Discovery’s existing and new customers based across Australasia.
The news of John’s appointment coincides with RFiD Discovery celebrating two successful years of operations in the region lead by APAC Regional General Manager, Steve Andrinos.
In his new role as Head of Sales across the APAC region and with experience of working on a local and international level, John will be supporting Steve in promoting the asset, people and other location tracking solutions offered by RFiD Discovery.
Within the APAC region, RFiD Discovery is able to provide its complete range of integrated solutions across a variety of sectors region including healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, aviation, retail and managed services.

In addition to promoting RFiD Discovery and its broad spectrum of track and trace solutions, John and Steve will be responsible for Paragon ID’s wider product offering including secure ID, smart cities (transit, mobile ticketing, and parking solutions), airline baggage tags as well as the financial, gift and loyalty card solutions offered by the Paragon ID-owned card manufacturer, Thames Technology.
